GDPR: watchdogs give businesses ‘one off’ to continue data processing by moving away from invalid consents
Businesses that find that the consent they currently have to collect and use personal data is invalid under new EU data protection laws have a “one off” chance to continue with that processing if another legal basis for the processing applies, an EU privacy watchdog has said.
