EDPB clarifies the interaction between the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive
The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) met for their eighth plenary session on 12 and 13 March 2019. On the session EDPB adopted:
- an opinion on the interplay between the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR;
- a statement on the proposed ePrivacy Regulation.
During session EDPS also adopted:
- two opinions on the draft national DPIA lists of Spain and Iceland; and
- a statement on the use of personal data in political campaigns.
