UK develops Ethics, Transparency and Accountability Framework for Automated Decision-Making
UK’s Central Digital and Data Office had developed Ethics, Transparency and Accountability Framework for Automated Decision-Making. Framework is created to improve the general literacy of automated or algorithmic decision-making with clear information and practical steps for civil servants and ministers to support the agenda and provide appropriate challenge.
7 point framework will help government departments with the safe, sustainable and ethical use of automated or algorithmic decision-making systems. It has been developed in line with guidance from government (such as the Data Ethics Framework) and industry, as well as relevant legislation.
