The hot topics warming up Brazil’s data protection debate

In the spirit of the French New Year’s Eve celebration, it is time to wake up and revive the subject of privacy and protection of personal data in Brazil. There are three topics that promise to warm up the Brazilian debate in 2018. One is profiling: The tension of boosting content comes to the Brazilian electoral sphere Our personal data is often collected and shared to “improve our experience.” At least, that is what is explained, in most cases, in the terms of use and privacy policies of internet providers.
