Ireland  publishes Data Protection Bill

The Government published, on 30 January 2018, the Data Protection Bill 2018 (‘the Bill’) to give further effect to the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (‘GDPR’) as well as to transpose the Data Protection Directive with Respect to Law Enforcement (Directive (EU) 2016/680).
