France: Accelerated GDPR bill reflects “limited scope”

21 December 2017 The Ministry of Justice published, on 13 December 2017, a draft law to amend Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data Processing, Data Files and Individual Liberties (‘the Act’) in light of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) as well as the Data Protection Directive with Respect to Law Enforcement.
