The 2006 Definition of Whois Purpose: Case study of the “bad old days” in ICANN
My last blog emphasized the importance of defining a purpose for Whois consistent with ICANN’s mission. It is impossible for ICANN to comply with GDPR unless this is done. Why doesn’t ICANN already have a defined purpose for Whois?
