ING Belgium Sees Opportunities for ‘Secret’ Sharing of Encrypted Data
Johan Smessaert, head of IT platform services at ING Belgium, tells CIO Journal that the technology would give the bank some comfort knowing that data stored in public clouds would always be encrypted even if the data was being analyzed. “This is an extra measure to be able to process data in public cloud environments without having to worry that much about there being a breach,” Mr. Smessaert said.
