On 9 March 2020, the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) issued a report on privacy and data protection aspects of geospatial information in various jurisdictions.
The Paper is high-level analysis of current legislation and policies in key markets across the world and its impact on the geospatial industry. It also provides recommendations to the WGIC membership and the geospatial industry at large on how to proactively address the privacy concerns in society in full compliance with data protection legislation in our day-to-day business.
